Customer Challenge– The Province of Newfoundland & Labrador sought various technologies to support an overall innovation strategy mandate. This included the delivery of robust workforce development solutions to enable industry upskilling.
Bluedrop Solution– The SkillsPass ISM platform offered the functionality required by the Province and was launched under the moniker “SkillsPass NL” in 2018. The tailored training content, broad industry applicability, and ease of consumption by a public training audience were key variables in the selection of SkillsPass.
Outcomes– SkillsPass NL has enabled the ongoing advancement of upskilling, reskilling, and OHS training for the benefit of all members of the Provincial workforce. There are over 35 courses currently available on the platform, being utilized by hundreds of employers, and over 35,000 registered users to date.
