Privacy Policy

Bluedrop ISM Privacy Statement

Privacy is important to Bluedrop ISM (“Bluedrop”) and it is important that you understand the purposes for which we collect, use and sometimes disclose your personal information.

“Personal Information” constitutes information about an identifiable individual, which includes, but may not be limited to an individual’s name, home address and phone number, age, sex, marital or family status, an identifying number, date of birth, financial information, educational history, medical history etc. Personal information, however, expressly excludes the name, title and business contact of the organization that an individual may be employed with.

In this privacy statement, we refer to the individuals whose certification records we maintain as “Learners”; “Sponsors” refers to those organizations that are associated with an individual Learner for the purpose of accessing their certifications; and “Trainers” are the organizations that perform training and grant certifications.

Who We Are

SkillsPass is an online platform that enables Trainers, Sponsors and Learners to maintain records of training certification in a manner that maintains the integrity of such certifications. Sponsors often send employees to training courses with Trainers, which result in earned certifications. These certifications are then available to the Sponsor, the Learner and, in some cases, other organizations who are designated as Sponsors within SkillsPass. Because a Learner may earn a number of certifications over their career from multiple Trainers, funded by multiple Sponsors, we have identified a need to create a central repository of certifications so that they are available to the Learner and Sponsors.

General Policy Statement

Please note that this privacy statement may be revised from time to time, without prior notice, particularly to address changes in our business, our services, the law, or technology. If that happens we will post the revised policy on our privacy statement page. Revisions are effective upon posting and your continued use of SkillsPass will be subject to the changed terms of the revisions. You agree that by using SkillsPass you are consenting to our collection, use and disclosure of your personal information.

    • TRAINING PARTNER INTEGRATION– Training partner enablement through unique storefronts to accept bookings, track attendance, and issue certificates working in concert with each client’s marketplace. APIs are also available for Training Partners with their own software.
    • DIGITAL WORKER PASSPORT– The industry-first SkillsPass Worker Passport, allowing end-users to access and share their validated credentials securely with employers and regulators (via QR code).
    • MULTI-LEVEL REPORTING– Robust reporting and insights at an employer and industry (client) level. Clients can provide a business account for each employer partner to allow them to track valid certificates, assign training, and see the final results and expiry notifications. The platform also generates valuable client insights about training completion at certificate, demographic, partner, industry, and regional levels.
