About the Program

The AccelerateLPN™ program integrates targeted eLearning, simulation-based training, and structured workplace support to prepare LPNs for the Canadian Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) scope of practice. The program builds clinical confidence, strengthens critical thinking and communication skills, and supports effective integration into Canadian healthcare—before and during onboarding. Key program components include:

1. Canadian Nursing Essentials
Before starting hands-on training, LPNs complete a week of targeted eLearning and virtual classes, gaining valuable insights into Canadian LPN practice, the healthcare system, and cultural expectations.
2. Simulation Boot Camp
A two-week intensive LPN prep that strengthens skills in a Canadian context with virtual scenarios, immersive VR clinical simulations, and a hands-on Skills Day, all in a risk-free environment.
3. Ongoing Expert Support
LPNs and preceptors get timely expert support from our Clinical Practice Mentors—available for up to 8 weeks to provide targeted coaching, answer questions, and guide real-time skill development.
4. Key Resources & Features
Access to 100+ eLearning courses, VR simulation library, regular check-ins with Nurse Educators (LPNs & Preceptors), and a Concierge Service with 1-on-1 assistance.

Lumeto is a Canadian-based company specializing in advanced XR simulation and training solutions, offering immersive, AI-enabled learning experiences primarily for the healthcare and safety sectors through their Involve XR platform.

AccelerateLPN™ is a structured work-ready program that helps IENs apply their existing knowledge and skills in the Canadian LPN system. It supports their transition to Canadian patient care and enables them to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.

Core components of the program include: (1) a review of Canadian Nursing Essentials, (2) an immersive skills training bootcamp, and (3) ongoing expert support with Workplace Integrated Learning (WIL).

AccelerateLPN™ is delivered by Bluedrop ISM’s in-house Nurse Educators, who collectively bring over 50 years of nursing experience, including approximately 15 years of direct work with internationally educated nurses.

The AccelerateLPN™ training program includes core stages including: (1) a bootcamp essentials including a review of Canadian Nursing and LPN Essentials, (2) an immersive skills training bootcamp, and (3) ongoing expert support with Workplace Integrated Learning (WIL).

Pricing is based on cohort group sizes with volume discounts available for large groups.

We work with IENs at various stages of their transition to Canadian practice. This training is designed for nurses who may or may not yet be licensed in Canada and who may have had some training but have not undergone a comprehensive orientation or onboarding in a Canadian healthcare setting.

The program currently is delivered to cohorts of 6 or 12.

AccelerateLPN™ is accepting cohorts from Provincial health authorities across Canada. Contact us if you’re interested in AccelerateLPN™ for a cohort in your jurisdiction.

The program launched in January 2026, and new cohorts are now being added.
