Just Got Easier!

The sentence all busy professionals love to hear- “your life is about to get easier!” We don’t always believe it, but when it’s said and it actually happens, we’re extremely happy. And, that’s what we’re saying with our latest product release for SkillsPass, our industry-leading workforce training platform.

Seriously, as I outlined in my short release overview video, we’re hoping to simplify the time and effort required to deliver and manage training for the hundreds of organizations that leverage our platform (either as direct customers or third-party users). With less time required to conduct administrative training tasks, administrators can focus on core training requirements, customer service, and the commercial aspects of growing their business. 

Our customers spoke and we got to work.

The product release process for us is critical to our success. It’s where we have an opportunity to activate product improvements and material advancements from our structured product roadmap. We’re in a constant information and insight gathering state- looking for ways to improve training delivery through SkillsPass. 

Our customers and users of the platform are our greatest asset. We value their feedback and leverage it to develop and improve their product. With this release, we had an opportunity to make some simple improvements that our customers have said would save time and make life easier for them- and for those individuals inside (or outside) their organization tasked with deploying and managing training for hundreds to thousands of customers or trainees. 

The key message was simple, the SkillsPass platform allows us to easily access, deploy, and manage training with our customers- but can it be faster? Can it be simpler with fewer steps? Can it help further reduce administrative time and get me back to my other key business requirements? Fortunately, the answer is yes it can!

Keeping things simple…

The theme of this release was ‘better’ and ‘faster’. We wanted to build in new and improved features and functionality that would streamline your training delivery, eliminate inefficient administrative tasks, and allow you more time to focus on the commercial aspects of your business. Let’s look at a few specific examples of what you will notice:

  1. New Interface- The first thing you’ll notice when you log in to the training provider suite within SkillsPass is the completely redesigned user interface. It’s a fresh look and feel, and we get a lot more information directly at your fingertips. We broke away from the menu navigation and brought the offerings into their own individual cards. No more searching and clicking through menus, it’s all right in front of you. Bottom line? Fewer clicks and faster execution.
  1. Simplified Calendar- The training providers who helped us with the beta release phase told us they really liked the all new calendar application.. We’ve really simplified how you access your offerings in real-time which makes life easier for administrators dealing with many courses and needing to quickly pull up information when taking a phone call or getting an email from one of their customers.
  1. Advanced Bookings- We’ve also streamlined the approach of adding people to seats in your various training offerings. The platform requires less information and fewer steps than before- which means you can add people to your seats in a matter of a couple of seconds. No matter if you’re getting a call from an employer or a worker directly. It’s just a lot faster to do that.

In addition, we’ve improved the processes required for managing bookings direct from employers, updating/merging learner accounts, and generating completion certificates. And all of these are done much faster too! We’ve also added automated onscreen tips, links to valuable reports, an all-new support knowledge base, and more!

You really need to check it out for yourself to see how easy SkillsPass is for deploying and managing training for hundreds to thousands of your training customers. But don’t just take our word for it. Our customers are loving what they see too based on feedback gathered during the beta rollout of the latest release.

 So the initial feedback is positive, but we’re not resting. We’re focused on the transition process, and in making sure this release is effectively leveraged by all of our customers and users as soon as possible.
