Innovative Nationwide Driver Training

The Opportunity– In response to the rapid growth of the rideshare and delivery sectors and the corresponding need for effective driver training, the Canada Safety Council partnered with Bluedrop ISM to develop a nationally standardized and accessible online training program.

Bluedrop Solution– The collaboratively-built Driver for Hire online training program includes 8 interactive modules designed to improve driver skills, safety, and performance. Hosted on Bluedrop’s SkillsPass training delivery platform, the certificate program is available 24/7 and offered in 5 languages.

Outcomes– Driver for Hire attracted hundreds of organizations and achieved over 5,800 certificate completions within its first six months. The program earned an 86% satisfaction rating, with more than 3,100 five-star reviews. Ninety-eight percent of employed drivers said the course would be valuable for newcomers, and 85% would recommend it to others.
